My Dryer won't start when I push the button.
It makes a noise clicking sound coming from the selector switch (dial)(timer).
the one that you choise thetime for clothes to dyer .

if I open the door the noise stops.
if I hold the door switch it starts back up.

the belt is fine I check it.
240 power .

Provided you know for sure that you have power, it will be 1 of 2 things. The thermal fuse in the rear. Take off the back panel, and you will see a white part about an inch and a half long, and a half inch wide, and that is the thermal fuse. If you want you can unplug the dryer, and take the two wires off the thermal fuse, and put the two spade terminals together, and put some tape around it so it does not hit metal, and then plug the dryer in, and see if it works. If so replace the thermal fuse. DO NOT run the dryer without it. This is just to test. The other thing it could be is the door switch.
