Default Dryer wont heat up
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KGYS850JQ1
Age: More than 10 years

My dryer stopped heating up. It runs fine but no heat. Everything is hooked up properly and i dont smell any gas when it is running. What do you think it is?

i took out the thermostat high limiter (cause it was easily excessable) and checked it with a multi-meter and got a resistance of .2, so i dont think it is faulty.

What do i check first?? Do i just take the whole burner manifold off and check all parts?? any help would be very appreciated!!

Hi,

Sounds like your thermostat high limiter checks out ok.

Can you see the ignitor come on?
