Default Dryer won't heat
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LE5795XPNO
Age: 5 - 10 years

I removed the heating element and replaced it with a new one. After installing the new element the dryer still won't heat. What else could it be?

Thank you.

possibly the over temp safety device or the thermostat both should have continuity while the unit is cold. on some older units the over temp device is not resettable so if this has failed it is good practice to replace the thermostat
