Unhappy Dryer Woes
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.66902690
Age: More than 10 years

For the past couple of months the Dryer would not start if you stop until the thermal overload would reset (I'm Assuming) then the motor just stop and made a humming sound. I pulled the motor out and clean it but I needed a wrench to turn it. Bought a new motor and a belt installed motor but it won't run at all now.I have check the door switch I was wondering if maybe the contactor for the broken belt switch is bad. Need some trouble shooting help please.

Check the voltage coming to the dryer.

When the motor failed it might have open the fuse in your house panel.

You should have 240 volts at the dryer.

Here is a link to the part of your dryer model 110.66902690.
