Unhappy Dryer will not work unless I keep start button pressed in
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.62982101
Age: 1 - 4 years

My dryer just stopped working. It works if I keep the start button pushed in. When I let go, it stops working. There is heat. Please let me know to fix it and what parts I need to order. If I have to change the motor how difficult is that or shouldn I get a new one, this thing is only 4 years old!

It is your motor that will need to be replaced.

The run winding is opened.

It is not hard to replace.

The most difficult part is removing the clamps that hold the motor in place

Here is a link to the part of your dryer model 110.62982101.
