Here is a link for parts , includes a schematic
Maytag ADE7005AYW Parts List

Try different cycle types and heat settings, if the motor still will not run then the below

If the light turns on is the switch still bad?
This does tell you that the switch is being activated and the Normally Closed contacts are working. I assume you mean the door switch. It does not tell you that the Normally Open contacts are closing when you close the door.

And is there a fuse some where on the dryer?
Yes and this is the part I would check. See just above the motor in the schematic.
Item 6 in the parts Heater Section.

Best way to check is disconnect one wire from it and measure with a volt/ohm meter. Should be 0 ohms.
Can also check by shorting the two wires together, taping them up so they cannot short to the case, then trying the dryer.

REMEMBER unplug unit when it is opened up.

Most common cause for blowing this fuse is a bad vent system. Clean your vent system and check to make sure the outside flapper opens correctly.

Run the unit while disconnected from the vent. Check for heat and a good air flow.
If worried about getting lint in the house take a pair of pantyhose put one leg inside the other and attach this to the dryer exhaust. Leave enough room for it to blow out like a windsock.

Also a good idea to give the unit a good cleaning inside while you have it open, especially the motor. Would also give it a check belts, rollers etc. Should be OK since dryer is relatively new.

Replace the thermal fuse kit. If you pop the top on the washer, in the back left hand corner, you will see the heating element, follow the 2 white wires, and that will lead you to the thermal fuse. Use the one with the blue dot in the kit. Also change the thermostat that is located on top of the heater assembly. It will all come in one kit. Take the 2 screws, one on the right and one on the left off on the top of the front panel on each side, and take the front off, if you look down you will see a ton of lint in the blower housing. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
