The motor on my dryer stopped working and I thought it had burned out. I bought a replacement motor and just installed it. Now the motor does not run and I hear a clicking noise from the upper part of the dryer where the control panel is. Any ideas what has gone wrong?

Check and see if the door switch is working.

You should hear a click when you open or close the door.

The switch mounting bracket may have broke.
