You will notice a thermal fuse in the neutral which is non resettable
This is your most likely cause
Two ways to check it, remove power to the unit first
1. Remove one wire from it and check with a meter. Should be 0 ohms.
2. Short the fuse's two wires together. Tape them up so that they cannot short to the frame and give it a try
If it is the fuse do not run without one as this is a safety device.
Also clean and check your vent system, this is the most common cause of the fuse blowing.
Make sure the unit has a a strong exhaust air flow as there are other internal problems with the dryer that can blow the fuse |
