That's a zero in your model number, not a letter O, may want to note that for looking up your parts.

Here's your parts breakdown, you can see what this thermal fuse looks like (it doesn't look anything like a normal fuse).

Whirlpool LGR5636LQ0

You'll also see in those parts you have Thermostats that could be bad as well. You need a volt or an Ohm meter to test them out and see where the problem is. I prefer voltage checks, but Ohm checks are safer to do. You pull one wire off each one being tested and test across them with your meter. While they are cold (room temperature) you should get a full (0 ohms) reading on your meter to see they are not the cause of your problem.

There is a thermal fuse on your dryer. If you unplug the dryer, and take the back off you will see a white piece about an inch and a half long, and a half inch wide, with two wires coming to it, that is your thermal fuse. If you have a ohm meter, take 1 of the wires off, and ohm it out. If you get a reading it is good. If not replace it. You can get the thermal fuse at parts select. If you need me you can reach me at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Kazzag you would get a better response if you start your own thread.
Use Post New Topic in the dryer section

Is this unit electric or gas?
This thread is for a gas dryer.
