My gas dryer flame shuts off soon (5 mins) after ignighting. I cleaned out the exhaust vent but it did not work.

Check the resistance of the burner coils.

The two terminal coil should have a resistance of between 1000 and 1300 ohms.

The resistance on the three terminal coil should be as follows:

Between pins 1 & 2 it should be 1300 to 1400 ohms.

Between pins 1 & 3 it should be 500 to 600 ohms.

The resistance of the igniter should be between 50 and 500 ohms.
