Default Dryer Way To Hot
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 1 - 4 years

My dryer is getting so hot that when i start it even on the air fluff setting the element in the back of the dryer glows red hot, which youcan clearly see when running it with the door open looking through the vent holes in the back of the tumbler drum. Anyone have any idea why it's getting so hot? Any suggestions would be much appriciated.

You might have a heat selector switch problem, and possibly a clogged vent to the outside. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
