Lightbulb Dryer want cut off
Brand: Roper
Model Number: REL3636AWO
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Roper Dryer tht will not stop on its own. I have replaced the timer/switch. Dryer still will not stop on its own. The dryer will stay at the cool down level, cloths don't over heat, the cool down seems to just run air. I feel this is not right/normal for this model. Not really sure the age of dryer, it came with the house--it looks very old. Serial #MCO501349. Any iteas?

Test the little resistor in the control panel, it lets the timer continue to stop.If it burns out dryer won't stop and run for days
