Default Dryer tumbles takes 3 tries to finish load getting heat
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LDE9206ACE
Age: 5 - 10 years

Drum is rotating but making noise like sneaker in side, opened door and could see clothes and drum moving and could feel heat in drum. Did notice on outside vent, vent slats not opening. Takes about 3 attempts to dry clothes. Also how to open top lid. Looking at parts list looks like no airflow through drum could be problem and drum rollers could be worn. Any ideas?

Remove vent duct in back of drier. Check airflow coming out of the drier. If air flow is good you need to clean out the ducting from wall to outside vent.

If you hear banging or thumping, most times the "drum support rollers" are worn till their bearings are too sloppy to keep seal alignment and the air flow escapes with out going out the vent pipe, just my opinion with out see it for myself.Bettyboop

Thumbs up Fixed !!

Replaced blower assembly, no air coming out of duct and replaced belt while I was at it. Not too bad of a job only took 1 hour. Thanks to everyone. And nope I don't live in Sandusky . I live in South Carolina.
