I purchased a timer for my Kenmore Dryer based on the fact that the dryer comes on but the timer does not turn and the dryer doesn't turn off automatically. I've changed also the overtemp, the hi temp and the bias or cycling thermostat...same symptom continues.

Is it possible that the timer I bought from you was bad out of the box? What should I do next? I'm pretty handy and I'm stumped and my wife is mad.

Physically, where is the resistor located? Is it up behind the access panel for the timer on the "OR" wire?

It Depends Some Are A White Ceramic,or A Black Plastic Looking Flat Circle With 2 Little Black Wires To The Timer, Late Models Have Resister Inline Wrapped In Shrink Clear Plactic Wrap. All Near The Timer
