Default Dryer Tearing Clothes
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DPSR405EA1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Our dryer works just fine, but the drum bearing ( PS960316, I think ) is cracked and split and it allows the white dryer drum slide ( PS266785, I think ) to protrude into the drum. As they tumble, out clothes catch on the protruding slide and are torn. What is the best way to correct this problem?

Thank you for your help

Take the dryer apart and look for a worn back drum bearing. Also you may need new glides in the front.
