Default Dryer takes too long to dry
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LDE8704ACE
Age: 5 - 10 years

My Maytag dryer takes too long to dry (2-3 hours) instead of 1 hour or less. How do I know what need to be replaced. I check the air vent and and cleaned and still no luck. Please help!! Thanks.

Free Appliance Repair Forum - Downloads

Try it on different cycles and temp settings to help narrow the cause down

Run it on timed dry, high temp and feel the exhaust pipe temp, should be hot
