Ronmel your vent is clogged from the back of the dryer to the outside vent. It is taking too long to dryer because the hot air from the dryer is not escaping. To check it. Take the vent hose off at the wall, and lay it to the side, so the air can escape freely, and if you don't want lint to go in the house, you can put a stocking, or panty hose on the end of the vent hose, and then run a full cycle, with clothes in it, and you will see, that it will dry the clothes. If you need me further, you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

I cleaned my vent, tried another load, then put my ear to the dryer. As it ran, I heard what sounded like something clicking on for 11seconds, then off for 21 seconds, and this kept happening. Some heating element kicking on and off?? Sometimes when I would randomly open the dryer door, it was still cold inside.

Ronmel, the dryer is short cycling because of resticted air flow. I noticed you said you cleaned the vent. But, I am sure you still have a clogged vent. If you were to run the product with no vent hooked up a nd pulled away from the wall, like I instructed, you will see you have no problem with the dryer. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
