Age: 5 - 10 years

dryer will run a little and then shut off. After it cools downs it will restart

Latida, replace the thermal fuse kit. These people here at parts select can help you with that. . Also Latida, once the unit is repaired, check your vent out side, and make sure it is letting the air out. Once you pop the top up on the dryer, in the back you will see the element, and if you follow the two white wires, that will lead you to the thermal fuse. Make sure you get the kit, that has the thermal fuse, and the high limit thermostat. Also Take the front off, and how you do that is, on the top left, and top right, you will see a 1/4 inch screw, take it out, and the front will come right off. Pull it away from the dryer, and look down in the blower housing on the front, and I am sure you will pull a big wad of lint out. Put it back together, and your there. did not work. Dryer ran for 20 min and then shut off. Would not restart like it did before I replaced parts as recommended
