Default Dryer still not heating
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: dde7109sblww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Followed all the advice here, and have even bought a new heating element from here after the old one tested bad based on the instructions listed on this site. Got it in 3 days, installed this evening and the dryer is still not producing any heat. It runs like a champ, the trap is now spotless, got plenty of power going to it. Just no heat.

Any other suggestions?

Default Just Went Through The Same Thing

I Replaced The Element, Tested The Two Thermostats (ohm Test Per Website) And Tested The Thermal Fuse They Were Good. The Problem Was The Motor Switch Relay Above The Motor Had Some Lint In It And Would Not Contact To Give The Element The Additional 12o Volt.
If You Have A Voltage Tester Carefully Test The Heating Element If It Is Reading 120 Volt It Still Needs Another 120 Volt To Heat (240 Volt Makes It Glow Red Hot) Hope This Helps
