When I select a cycle and shut the door, my dryer now begins running immediately instead of waiting for me to use the start switch. It's not overheating, it does move correctly through the timed settings and it stops when it's supposed to. Does this sound like a problem with the start switch or the door switch? Thanks!

Door switch is OK.
Remove power from the unit (unplug or flip the breaker)
Open up the control console. Remove one wire from the start switch. Tape it up so it cannot short to anything. Reconnect power. Give it a try. If you cannot start the unit, the contacts in the start switch are welded together. Replace the switch.
