Default Dryer starts, and then stops.
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ALG866SAW

The dryer will not start unless you hold in the timer knob. The machine also is vibrating more than usual.

Hi,

Open the dryer door. Take out your lint screen and look down the hole you took it out off.

Look with a good light to see if a sock or something got caught in the blower fan.

It's funny. I did find a sock under the lint catch. I pulled it out but I'm still having the same problem.

Is it possible that there is another sock down there. How can I get a better look?
