 Dryer starts on it's own & won't shut off Brand: General Electric Model Number: dhdsr46ee1ww Age: 1 - 4 years
My GE dryer starts on it's own and will not stop.
I put in a load of wet clothes, shut the door and it starts. There's no need to use the start button. So then I manually take out the clothes before the cycle is through, shut the door and it starts. I have to manually place the setting in an "off" position to get the dryer to turn off, but then a few minutes later, it advances on it's own and continues to the next cycle.
