Our Kenmore washer's tripod broke so rather than an $800 dollar repair, we are getting a new washer. We're interested in the:

Frigidaire Gallery GLTF2940F (s), with stacking kit 2W, and want to see if it is compatible to stack with our Kenmore dryer model number 417.82042101. Or, is there something to allow the two to be stackable?

Is there a stacking kit compatibility chart out there anywhere?

Any answers or assistance would be appreciated...

I have never seen to different name brands stacked together. You might have to build your own. The only other suggestion is to call your local appliance store, and ask them. If you need help picking out a new product, visit my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
