that bearing is not be pushed out it is in the right spot, thats a grounding bearing that makes contact with the drum and the housing. The squeeking noise could be coming from the rear drum bearing or the belt pulley. If the dryer is a couple of years old and never worked on I would take it apart and replace the rear bearing, front glide, idler pulley, and belt. I do this to my frid.dryer about ever five years and right now its 18 years old and running ok |
