 Dryer sounds and smells Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
The dryer ran for 50 minutes. There was very little lint in the screen and the clothes weren't completely dry. I started the dryer again but this time there was a different sound--not a buzzing--maybe a little louder of a humming. I stopped the dryer, opened it and smelled a faint buring smell. The smell also came from the back of the dryer. Any thoughts on what would cause the smell or the sound? |
