My dreyer runs ok then I take clothes out but when I put more in and start IT does not run it just buzzes I have to wait for about 15 minutes then it will work again. Seems like it is overheating

Hi,

Yes it does sound as if your motor is going out.
You may just want to take a look at it to make sure it's not covered in lint.

If it is clean the lint off of it and try it again.

I cleaned the lint build up from the motor and inside switches but it runs ok untill it gets down to almost finish and shuts off. when I push start for another load it just buzzes I then have to wait for about 15 minutes then it runs again. could it be the switch as it buzzes?

It's the red hot wiring buzzing(complaining). After it cools down and you push the start button you soon will hear a little buzzy grunt, and it will run even less each time till it won't move anymore. then it's time for a new motor.

Default Buzzes

Check to be sure that it is the motor that is buzzing
Or is it the buzzer or another part
I would not only clean around the motor but also the ducting and check that the outside vent is opening properly
Also check that the drum rotates fairly easily
If it is overly stiff your motor has to work much harder and this could be causing overheating
Usually dryer motors have a self resetting overheat thermostat which disconnects both the start and run windings. So it seems strange that your motor is getting so hot
Unfortunately I cannot find specific info on the motor's intrnal wiring to confirm this
Perhaps someone else has this info

Motor switch is clicking because it's dying, trying to stay running
