I have recently changed the heating coil, belt and front shims on this dryer. At times, after the cloths are partly dried, the dryer SOMETIMES makes a loud vibrating noise almost like the cloths are not balanced! Then it goes away. It is time to give up?

Check and make sure that the idler pulley is turning freely.

Check the rear bearing for where.
