Default Dryer Screams
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 417.80142000
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer screams when working. It dries the clothes, but is making everyone crazy.
I have read some posts, that advise to replace the drum slider bearings, but I cannot find a part with that name in the site.
Would you please provide me with a part number, and a small description of the installation, so I can see if I can find this part and do the job myself.
Thank you very much

Hi. I just ran across your post. If you are still having issues with the dryer let me know and I'll try to see what I can do.

Don't know if you have already tried this, but if you go to the Sears website you can put in your model number and get parts lists as well as diagrams. I would imagine you can use this site, but the sears site should defiantly work since Kenmore is a sears product even though it is made by other manufacturers.
