Default Dryer runs, but need cool down after 1 cycel
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LG8153WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer will start up, get hot and run for as long as its timer is set (which is usually 60-70 minutes. ) However, once the dryer completes a 60-70 minute cycle, it will not start drying again until it has had 20-30 minutes to "cool down." If you try to dry two wash loads in succession, the dryer will not start up for the second load. The switch will make a momentary buzzing sound followed by clicking and then followed by silence. This same thing happens if you open the dryer while it is in the midst of a drying cycle (usually after running for 15-20 minutes.) The dryer vent is fine. What could be causing this? Is it worth fixing?
