Default Dryer repair
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JDE2000WC
Age: 5 - 10 years

Our dryer (Jenn-Air Ultra 22) makes a rather loud noise -- especially for the first little while during a cycle. The noise is like a really rapid ticking sound. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Doug

Where is the ticking sound coming from?

Is it in the control panel or from under the dryer?

How long does the ticking last?

Here is a link to your dryer model JDE2000WC.

The sound last for much of the cycle and seems to be coming from the bottom of the machine rather than the control panel.

Thanks
Doug

could be something stuck on the front or rear seals like a pin or paperclip or maybe that 20 dollar gold coin that fell out of your pocket or could be the belt coming apart and hitting the dryer
