Model Number: PYE3200AYW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I'm replacing my duct collector kit and I'm uncertain as to how to remove the top of the dryer after removing the control panel. Their are no screws, I'm wondering if it just pops up or what...please help!

Thanks in advance!

First thing you need to is put the control panel back together. Then get a putty knife, and put it under the top on the right side, about an inch from the end, and pop up the right side, and then do the same on the left side. Lean the top back up against the wall. Then if you look inside the dryer on the front panel on the top left hand corner, you will see a 1/4 inch screw, take it out, and do the same on the right side. Now pull the top to you, and lift the bottom off the clips, take the wires off the door switch , and don't forget where they go. Then look in the bottom of the blower housing, and Hey!! did you ever see so much lint in your Life?!!!! LOL I guess you can tell I never did that before. LOL. If you need me I can be reached at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
