Default Dryer over heating- heat will not shut off

My roper dryer will not stop heating I have replaced vertially all resisters and it will not stop heating. It will glow red until you unplug it from the wall. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

sounds like one of the wires or the element is touching ground

There should be a theromostat located near the blower, take this out and clean it off or replace it. The lint and such cling to it and insulates it from detecting the
heat and will not work properly.

Current to make the heater (element) work, comes through the motor start, safety switch. If the element glows red with the motor off, then the safety part of the motor start switch is bad. If so replace the motor start switch, If not avillable, replace motor.Bettyboop
