Unhappy Dryer only starts on timer "cooling" settings
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.96581110
Age: More than 10 years

The timer seems to work fine. But when it's turned to the regular timed settings, the dryer won't start. It works fine in the short cooling timings, but of course there is no heat. Replaced thermister, door switch, and start button in past two years and has worked fine until now. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

With a meter, check the timer contacts that run motor. Or just pull timer apart and check for burnt contacts.

What does it mean if the contacts are burnt?
