2 black wires from timer motor--one to double grays has power the other to brown to moisture circuit board has none either on timed dry or intellidri settings.

timer did not rotate on timed dry.

If the timer is not advancing in the time dry setting you do have a problem with it.

Changed timer all OK. Burnt contacts in timer. Still not sure about continuity issue on cycle t'stat across center terminals. forgot to compare new one with old one before I installed and buttonned up.

I really appreciate your help, Sheila, Thank you!!

All seemed ok but new timer not rotating on intellidry perm press cycle? heats ok

Try cleaning the sensor strip that is in side the dryer.

You can use alcohol.

sensor stripped cleaned w/ alcohol no change.

sensor strip has been cleaned w/ alcohol. no change new timer still does not countdown to off.

Check the sensor bar for continuity.

If it shows that there is continuity across the sensor bar it will have to be replaced.
