Default Dryer not heating
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDE7600AYW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Someone please help! My dryer has been sitting for 8 months in storage. It worked fine before I unhooked it. I turn it on and it spins fine, however ,there is no heat. It seems like it is not even blowing? Not sure on this. I am new to this so if anyone has suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help. It is a maytag - Atlantis. The dryer is about 6 years old.
Thanks,

Joe

One more thing - an electrician put a new cord on the dryer. Is it possible that he could have wired it incorrectly causing the fan / heater element not to function?

Figured it out. The electrician left off a wire that dropped down inside the unit. He had me chasing my tail for a while but it is now fixed...
