The dryer is not heating. Have checked the thermostat and it is okay. Is there anything else it could be besides the heating element?
I hate to tear it down and it not be the heating element.

The first thing you should check is the voltage to your dryer. You should have 240 volts.

There is a thermal fuse locate in the right back corner of the dryer.

Check the continuity of the element.
