Default Dryer no heat
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LGR4634BQ1
Age: 5 - 10 years

I HAVE A GAS DRYER. CLOTHES TUMBLE, BUT NO HEAT AT ALL ON ANY SETTING. VENTS ARE ALL CLEAR. WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE? IS IT WORTH HIRING SOMEONE TO REPAIR IT ?? ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL....I'M A SINGLE MOM...AND SOMETIMES REPAIR MEN THINK THEY CAN GET ONE OVER ON ME ...SO I WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THANKS
P.S- I HAVE FIXED OTHER OF MY APPLIANCES MYSELF, JUST NEVER A DRYER, AND HAVE COMPLETLY GUTTED AND REMODELED ABATHROOM BY MYSELF...SO I'M REALLY NOT JUST A "DUMB GIRL" (LOL)

Lightbulb

Remove the front panel below the door. With the panel removed start the dryer, if the igniter glows but gas flame does not light the coils are bad. If the igniter does not glow the high-temp switch is bad.
