Default Dryer no heat
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.62202100
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello gents, I have a Kenmore model 110.62202100 dryer that jusy decided to stop heating. I have checked the breaker and it is fine. The vent was also free and clear.

I visually inspected the heating element and it looks good (no breaks etc) I also used my meter on the RX1 setting and it reads 10. The thermal sensor reads 0.

There is another thermostat up higher above the element, how should I test it?

Thanks in advance.

Default

Check to see that there is 240 volts coming to the dryer.

All the thermostat are check the same and should have the same reading.

There is also a thermostat on the blower.

Check the motor switch, power is fed through it.

Also check the wiring coming into the dryer to make sure that there are no burnt wires.

Here is a link to the parts of your dryer model 110.62202100.
