Question Dryer motor R&R
Brand: Other
Model Number: ASKO 7005
Age: 5 - 10 years

The Dryer is an ASKO (made in Sweden) Model 7005, Type TD 70A, Sr # 9546-037509. Need to R&R the motor. What is the procedure? Would like to purchase repair manual, too. Have replaced the rollers that support the drum front and the bearing that supports the drum rear, earlier. That required taking the cabinet apart. Can the motor be replaced without disassemblying the cabinet?

You will have to take the drum out to replace the motor.

Sorry I don't have any information on your model.
