Default Dryer Motor Failing
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DBXR453EV1WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer motor is making a loud noise upon starting. The noise decreases during the cycle but I notice the cabinet may be getting hotter than normal. Is this a sign of the motor heading South and is there any other related issue. Is the motor replacement something I can do and can you provide basic instruction? Thanks.
