Default Dryer, Moisture sensor shut off unrealiable
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: dpsr475ew0ww
Age: 1 - 4 years

Dryer sometimes dryes completely & sometimes shuts off w/damp cloths. Should I replace bias thermostat on blower unis (is this moisture sensor ?) or do I try PC Board unit ?, unsure what part is sensing cloths to be dry & turn off unit. Cleaned all lint & blower prior, again occasionally works fine, & sometime not . What part senses clothes to be dry & shuts off unit.

Default

The thermostat senses air temperature not moisture.

The thermostat is either good or bad it will not be intermittent.

I would have to say that it is your PC board that is causing the problem.

I can't say for sure as I don't have any information on your dryer.

Here is a link to your dryer model dpsr475ew0ww.
