Default Dryer makes loud noises
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DPSR405EA1AA
Age: 5 - 10 years

When the dryer is running it makes a loud squeaking noise and every so often it makes a thumping noise. I'm not sure what parts I should order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I had to guess, you'll probably need a rear bearing, an idler pulley, and 4 glides (or the kit with 2 glides if its older) all of those parts will probably run you about $20-$30

I dont think I've ever replaced the assembly so just the bearing should do. Get the belt too if the dryer is > 10 years old
