Default Dryer Losing heat
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GLER331AS0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello, My dryer seems to be losing heat. It is not running as hot as it used too. It takes on average two times through the dryer for the clothes to actually come out dry. Is this the Heating element going out??

BTW. Love the site!!

OK. I checked the element after looking at the diagrams and it is definitely working. I checked the temp at the exhaust in the back. It is 104. From what I have found it should be around 150. The element in the back is really hot. I would say that it is working perfectly. Is it maybe the blower? The exhaust in the back seems to be coming out fine...I am out of ideas.
