Brand: Roper
Model Number: red4000sw
Age: Less than 1 year

i received this dryer from a thrief store it came with paper and there was a washer also. now because we did not have proper hook up we had to get that done by a elctrician that took time. by the time we got that done the 30 day warrant was off the dryer. i have had a person to come in and try to fix it. no such luck the dryer is new it was donated to the threif store and i purchase both. i need to know what can be done to get this dryer to working . do you all know what i can do please responed asap.

Check and make sure the electrician turn the breaker on and you have 240 volts at the outlet.

If the light come no but the dryer will not run it could be the thermal fuse.

The thermal fuse is located on the blower housing and could be faulty.

Here is a link to your dryer model red4000sw.

The thermal fuse is number 23 on the breakdown.

What was the problem with the dryer.
