If the drum is turning, there is heat, and you are using the 'automatic' cycle, it's probably your 'dry' sensor, if you have one, at the back of the drum. If not the timer would be suspect. Check the timer (and by default the sensor) by using the manual cycle set for 10 minutes on medium heat. If it goes off in 10 minutes and the towels are warm, set it for 30-60 minutes. If still damp at 60, I would suspect the thermostat(s).
The towels should not be real 'hot'. If so, the upper limit thermostat could be bad. That would cycle the heat on and off at random. The termostats on an electric dryer are usually easy to change out. |
