Unplug dryer, take off back cover, remove lint filter, remove the 2 little phillips screws by filter opening on top of dryer. The filter rides in the lint chute, to remove the chute, remove the 4 screws at the bottom, in back of machine, and pull chute out by lifting the back of the machine slightly off the floor, and remove chute. Take it outside, rinse it real good with a garden hose, and dry. vacuum and clean all the debris from the blower fan. Now pop open the top from the front, with a stiff putty knife, tip the top back and rest it aginst the wall. Remove belt and drum, and clean the motor and everything spotless. reasemble and if the foam gaskets are still good reinstall chute.(if gaskets are not perfect, they must be replaced, or dryer will leak air and dryer will perform poorly)If lint filter is worn, or has holes, replace. Take vent hose and flush with water(from same hose). Check vent pipe that goes thru your wall. This must be clean! let me know Bettyboop
