Default Dryer heats fine but won't tumble, but can't find model number for part
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: Please select

I have an older frigidaire electric dryer that still heats but won't turn! I'm pretty sure it only needs a belt (but will entertain other options) however I have looked all over the outside and cannot find a model number to get the part! Can someone help me figure out where to find it? If someone could give me an idea where (on the dryer) to find the belt that would be helpful too!

Open the dryer door and look for a tag with the model and serial number on it around the door opening.

Default Label missing?

I've looked there and I looked on all the places on the diagrams but still no luck. Could it be someplace else, or missing? I'm not even sure the year but I'd guess 80's, or 90's? It was given to me, so no manual. I also noticed the blower and heat both work, but I smell a burning like rubber when I turn it on. If I could figure out where to look for the belt I could take that with me to the store for replacement. Any suggestions on how to get to the belt?

There should be two clips between the top and the front panel, one in each corner.

Use a putty knife to release the clips.

Then look in side the dryer and there should be two screws to release the front panel.
