Question Dryer Has Vibration
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDG2600BWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I was drying a load of clothes and told my husband I heard a helicopter. He
went to the utility room and said its your dryer I said no way. I went in there and the dryer had a vibration to it you could feel it in the floor and hear it. My husband
opened the door and held the button and the drum seems to turn as usual. My load of clothes did dry. I have never had this before, I was thinking maybe the belt or a bearing? Do you have any ideas I would sure appreciate it. I just
cant live without a washer or dryer. Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Pull the lint filter out and look down in there with a flashlight.
Something may have got into the blower fan wheel right below the lint trap.
