GE Profile Dryer has power but will not start or run. The light works when the door opens but that is all I get. I had the drum glides replaced 2 years ago. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

When you manually hit the door switch does the light go off?

If it does, try starting the dryer while you hold the door switch

Still no life, not even a ticking sound when I set it to time dry.

Here is a link to your unit
GE DPSR405EA1WW

In the Backsplash Blower section it shows an interlock switch (Item 803)
That could be the problem.

I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit, do you?
If not it may be in the control console.

Normally I would suspect the thermal fuse but usually it is before the door/light switch but your light works. So I am making an assumption, which may be wrong, that your unit is wired this way

Would be nice to have a schematic but GE thinks this is a secret.
