Default Dryer gas lights for 15 sec. then off?
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: PDGT910AWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello, When you turn on the dryer the IGNITER glows and the the gas lights. About 15 to 20 seconds later you hear a click and then the gas shuts off. The gas will not come back on till you let it sit for sometime. Any ideas? Thank you.

Sounds like a flame sensor problem if the sensor doesn't sense the flame within a few seconds then the gas vavle drops out. If you have a good flame when it starts then the sensor probably is faulty here is the part
